David has 35 years of experience as a practicing trial attorney that he can apply to the position of Village Justice of the Village of Dobbs Ferry. He is a graduate of Williams College and Fordham University School of Law. His legal experience includes building a successful private law practice in New York City and now White Plains, New York, where he is a partner in the law firm of Menz Bonner Komar & Koenigsberg LLP. He served as a law clerk to a United States District Judge, and as an Assistant United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York.
David will service as Village Justice with impartiality and fairness. He is dedicated to upholding the rule of law and ensuring that enforcement of the law will be applied equally to all citizens.
David has been an active member of his community, with years of service as Trustee on the Village Board and Deputy Mayor and serving on the boards of the Dobbs Ferry Historical Society, Friends of the Dobbs Ferry Waterfront, the Walden Wood Homeowners Association, and as a District Leader for the Dobbs Ferry Democratic Committee. As Trustee, David worked hard to represent the interests of the Village. He is one of the three Trustees who voted NO to the Rivertowns Square development project.
